Metro Area GDP 2011 Data The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), in its new March 2013 Survey of Current Business, has published an article explaining the new preliminary (i.e., “advance”) metropolitan statistical area (MSA) gross domestic product (GDP) data for 366 areas. Author Andrew Reamer of George Washington University is a former chairperson of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Data User Advisory Committee.
