Using E-Tools to Identify Occupations (transcript)

This 2-page transcript of a podcast will show you how to use the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Occupational Employment Statistics program — called OES for short — to investigate data on occupations, both nationally and in your area. The OES program is the government’s most geographically-detailed source of information on detailed occupations (and the principal source for BLS and state employment projections). The OES program collects data on employees in nonfarm establishments for about 800 occupations.
