|Webinar: Improving Higher Education Outcomes
Jobs for the Future (JFF) will hold a free Webinar on “Improving Higher Education Outcomes in the United States,” on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, 2–3 p.m. Eastern time.
JFF explains the Webinar as follows: “Gainful employment regulations are looming, a bipartisan Student Right to Know Before You Go Act has been introduced to the Senate, and the White House has published a College Scorecard evaluating student loan default rates and employment outcomes. Given this environment of scrutiny, colleges will need to build capacity to collect stronger student outcome data and monitor regional labor markets to ensure that their program offerings align with employer demand. The purpose of this discussion is to have some of the evaluators behind these types of scorecards share insight into how colleges can structure student data and use labor market resources….”
